FIRST METHOD:

 

STEP 1: Download All-in-One-WP-Migration.

STEP 2:  There are three options available in this plugin.

     1.  Export     2. Import    3. Backup

 

STEP 3:  Click Backups and then create the backup of WordPress Website.

 

STEP 4:  Then you will be redirected to Exported Site.

 

STEP 5: And select Export To. You will see that there are six options available. Select the option in which you want to create the backup.

  1. FILE 

  2. FTP 

  3. DROPBOX

STEP 6: Click the option to which you want to create the backup. Click File and Its starts to create the backup like this.

STEP 7:  It creates a backup and downloads the backup. It is  .wpress file.

 

STEP 8: Logout of that WordPress and Uninstall the WordPress From that host which do you want to remove the website.

 

Remove the DNS of the old web host and replace it with the new web host. It takes some time to update.

 

STEP 9: After this go to the new web host and Install WordPress with the same domain URL.

 

STEP 10: Install the All in One WP Migration Plugin in the new WordPress Website. 

 

STEP 11:  Go to Import, then select the file and upload the file that has downloaded from the old web host.

 

STEP 12: After this, the same website is uploaded to the new host easily by this method.

SECOND METHOD:

 

Ask your web hosting service provider to migrate the website to another host. They take some charges from you and migrate your website. It is the second method to move the website from one host to another. 

 

 THIRD METHOD:

 

STEP 1: Go to Cpanel and Click the BackUP option. Create the back up of that website. Here are two types of backups. 1. Home Directory  2. Database.

 

STEP 2: Upload the home directory and database back up to the new web host and replace the old web host nameserver with the new web host nameserver.

 

Then same website upload to the new web host which is on the old web host.

 

FOURTH METHODS:

 

STEP 1: Go to CPanel and click the public_html file. Download all the files under public_html by click select all files. Download the database backup then go to phpmyadmin then Click Export, all database will be download.

 

STEP 2: Then Uninstall the WordPress website from old host and Go to the new web host and replace the new Domain Name Server to old Domain Name Server.

Install the WordPress Website to New host.

STEP 3: Upload the public_html file through FTP (FileZilla) in the public_html file of the new web host.

 

STEP 4: Upload the database backup to the new web host.

 

Go to Import Option and upload the downloaded file as it is. Click Go then the full database has uploaded successfully.

 

When you migrate any website to the new web host then public_html are same but there are new database created in new web host. Replace the new database name and password to the old database name and password in the wp-config.php file.

In wp-config.php you will see this $table_prefix = ‘wpt1_’; in database table prefix. So replace new table prefix to old database table prefix. Example: I had replaced ‘wpt1_’ to my old database table prefix.

 

The same website is upload to the new web host. Go to the WordPress admin login by typing the URL http://example.com/wp-login.php or http://eample.com/wp-config.php and set up your login and password. Login and Password are same which you set in the previous host.

 

So these are the method to move the WordPress Website from one host to another. The first method is easy and moves your website easily.
